Our Christmas opening times

Wandsworth Foodbank will be closed for Christmas and New Year, from 2pm on Christmas Eve Tuesday 24 December until 9am on Thursday 2 January.

All our regular Welcome Centre Sessions and home deliveries for people unable to collect (because of illness or disability) will run as usual up to 2pm on Christmas Eve.

For food bank referral partners, if you’re referring someone in hardship to us, please complete the referral as soon as possible, and by next Friday 20 December at the latest, so we’re able to help people before we close. We may not be able to fulfil delivery referrals received after 20 December.

Emergency financial help is available through Discretionary Support Grants from Wandsworth Council, which can provide supermarket and prepayment fuel vouchers for Wandsworth residents in financial hardship. The Council has told us that their team will be processing applications between Christmas and New Year, with the exception of the public holidays on 25/26 December and 1 January.
