Donate food

Thank you so much for checking this page before donating food. We update it regularly so you can see what's most needed at the moment.

Changes due to impact of coronavirus

Since the end of March, we’ve been delivering emergency food supplies to the homes of people referred to us in severe hardship. Our five food bank centres – where people used to come to collect the food they need – are still temporarily closed.  Home delivery means we can continue providing emergency food to local people, while keeping everyone as safe as possible.

As our centres are closed, we’re asking people not to deliver food to our centres for now. If you’re doing a Harvest collection at your church, school or business, find out more about Harvest giving here – and thank you!

You can still give vital help

The need for our food bank has more than doubled since March. We know the next few weeks and months are going to be busy at the food bank, especially as furlough ends and winter comes. If you’d like to help local people who’ve been pulled into hardship, you can:

What food do we need?

You can see the food we currently most need online at the top of this page, and online at Bankuet, a social enterprise that’s helping people donate to food banks like ours.

Our food collection points at local supermarkets are still there, which some of our wonderful team and volunteers will continue to collect each week. Please only donate items that are in-date and unopened, as otherwise we’re not able to use them – thanks. You can see where our collection point locations below:
