Donate food

Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.
Thank you so much to all who have donated to Wandsworth Foodbank this year and especially this winter. We are now running out of storage space and can no-longer accept food donations.

If you would still like to give to help people who are in crisis at this time, can we encourage you donate funds via our website DONATE page.

Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

See our page ‘What’s in a Food Parcel?’ to see the food items we can accept.  Our shopping list on the right shows the food items that we need right now.

If you are happy to drop off food donations, please see the table below for our food collection point locations:

Many thanks. Our favourite days to receive food are Mondays and Tuesdays.

There are also now permanent collection points at Waitrose stores in Clapham Junction, Southside and Putney Exchange, as well Sainsbury’s in Garratt Lane, Balham, Putney and Earlsfield, and Co-op Northcote Road. Donations can be left there during store opening times, and will all come to Wandsworth Foodbank.

We can accept Online Supermarket deliveries at St Mark’s Church on a Monday between 10am-5pm. Please add Wandsworth Foodbank to the delivery note and let us know what time to expect it.

We are piloting a new way to donate food online with Bankuet Social Enterprise. View and purchase our most-needed items on their website here. Please add our address (Wandsworth Foodbank, St Mark’s Church, Battersea Rise, SW11 1EJ) when ordering. Anything purchased here will be delivered directly to us at a convenient time.

If you would prefer to donate money you can do that online here. We can claim Gift Aid if you are UK taxpayer. This money can then be spent on food as and when most needed.

Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food.

Last year, 32 tonnes of food was generously donated by the public. Thank you!
