Donate food & essentials

Please donate so that local people and familes in hardship can have the food and essential toiletries they need

On average, people coming to food banks have just £52 a week to live on, after rent and bills. Local people on low pay or receiving inadequate social security payments simply don’t have enough money to live on.

We’re so grateful to everyone across our borough who refuses to stand by while local people and families are going without, and donates food and essential toiletries to ensure local people have what they need. We need you now more than ever.

Ways to donate food and essentials

Please take a moment to read the list on the right to see what’s most needed across our six Wandsworth Foodbank centres right now. We update it at the beginning of every month, so do check back! Please only donate items that are in-date and unopened, as otherwise we’re not able to give them away. Thank you so much.

  • Donate at Wandsworth Foodbank donation points: You can find a list of  donation point locations below, with their opening times.  Please note that Asda donation points are for in-store shoppers only, as they kindly offer a top-up payment based on items purchased and donated there.
  • Give food online via a financial donation to Bankuet: Your gift, specified for Wandsworth Foodbank, will enable us to order exactly the food we need for people, when we need it – and Bankuet will deliver it directly to us.
  • Give a financial donation  to help us continue to provide emergency food parcels and long-term advice and support.
