We're powered by a brilliant team of volunteers, and together we support local people facing severe hardship.
Driven by a shared sense of justice and compassion, our 200+ volunteers help provide emergency food and support to local people across the borough who’ve been referred to us in crisis.
At the moment we’re not looking for new volunteers – sorry! This is because, due to Covid-19, many of our volunteering opportunities are paused until we’re able to re-open our daily food bank sessions in churches and community centres across the borough.
We’ve been really moved by the number of people getting in touch to help, including through volunteering – thank you. Although we’re not taking on new volunteers at the moment, there are other vital ways you can help – like donating food or cash.
You could also help raise awareness of the issues local people face, and our work, for instance through social media and writing to local councillors to ask how Wandsworth Council is protecting residents from hardship and food insecurity.
