After a very busy start to the year, we’re closing our food bank welcome centres and office this Easter weekend, from Friday 7-Monday 10 April inclusive.
We’re also asking our foodbank referral partners across the borough to complete referrals for local people and families by 5pm on Tuesday 4 April, to ensure we can help everyone who needs our support before the weekend.
As always, we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who is giving money, food and time to support local people in hardship. It means a lot to people referred to us, as this text we received today shows:
“Thank you for helping me and my family today about the food and other things we received. The staff was very helpful, kind and very nice people. My family is very happy today. Thank you so much for your help.”
