We have had a few inquiries about ‘Reverse Advent Calendar’, and the best way to get donations to us around Christmas time. If you are collecting items each day of December to donate to your neighbours in crisis – thank you very much! For inspiration on content check out our Christmas Appeal Poster
Because we are especially busy helping people in the run up to Christmas, we don’t have as much capacity to process new donations. Therefore please avoid delivering donations to our centres in the week running up to Christmas, and where possible focus on long-life items that will be able to be used in January.
We would ask that Reverse Advent Calendar donations are delivered to us at one of the following times / places:
- Christmas Day at the 10.30am Christmas service at St Michael’s Church, Southfields (SW18 5TT)
- Friday 30th December, between 10am-12noon at St Mark’s Church, Battersea Rise (SW11 1EJ)
- Tuesday 3rd January, between 12.30-2.30pm at St Mark’s Church, Battersea Rise (SW11 1EJ)
Our supermarket collection points have limited capacity and are likely to be very busy at this time so probably best to avoid them, especially with bulky donations!
Thank you so much for your cooperation with us supporting people in crisis in Wandsworth this Christmas. Do get in touch with us in the office if you have any questions.
Wishing all our donors a very Merry Christmas
