Free Money Advice Roadshow for Wandsworth residents on 2 October 2025

We’re glad to be supporting Wandsworth Council’s next free Money Advice Roadshow for local residents, which will be held at Mitcham Lane Baptist Church, Tooting at 2-4pm on Thursday 2 October 2025.

It will be a welcoming space for local people to sit down with advisors from trusted organisations for free, confidential, and tailored support on money, debt, housing, and household bills.

This follows from the previous successful roadshow, hosted at St Mark’s Church Battersea Rise (where our food bank is based).

Dan, Wandsworth Foodbank manager, says:

“By getting advice to people before they’re in deep hardship, some people may not need to use our food bank to get by. Advice work like this, delivered at the right time, is a vital part of our vision to end hardship and the need for food banks – as well as hopefully lifting some of the heavy weight of worry and stress that many local people and families are experiencing.”

We will be sharing more information and promotional materials from Wandsworth Council soon, and we’d love people to spread the word to families and friends, and come along for money advice and support.
