Thank you to TR Property for our vital warehouse space!

We are delighted that TR Property has extended the lease on our food bank warehouse in Ferrier Street, Wandsworth Town for another 12 months, providing us with a rent-free facility until the end of 2025.

TR Property says:

The Wandsworth Town foodbank warehouse is a vital space that enables the food bank’s incredible volunteers to manage and distribute donated food to those in need across the borough. Last year alone, the warehouse weighed over 108 tonnes of food, helping countless families through challenging times. We are honoured to play a part in their mission to support members of our community and ensure that no one goes without.

The warehouse is a vital space where our team of volunteers sort and store donated food before it’s delivered to our six food bank Welcome Centres across the borough, to be given to people and families referred to us in hardship. We also deliver emergency food from the warehouse direct to the homes of people referred to us in hardship who are unable to come to a centre because of illness or disability.

The provision of this dedicated warehouse space in Wandsworth Town since January 2023 has played a vital part in enabling us to provide emergency food and support to thousands of local households during this time.

We’re so grateful to TR Property for generously providing this warehouse space for our food bank rent-free for another year. This resource is a huge help to us as we help people and families facing hunger in Wandsworth.
