Christmas 2023 gift card appeal

Many local people and families on low incomes face another difficult winter. For those who’ll be referred to Wandsworth Foodbank for emergency food and support, we’d love to offer them a little extra kindness this Christmas.

That’s why we’re inviting people to give a little extra to individuals and families in hardship, through our Christmas Gift Card appeal.

Every penny donated will help us provide a supermarket gift card to each household referred to Wandsworth Foodbank in December, alongside their emergency food parcel.

We know from previous years how much people appreciate this extra kindness, like this mother who received a gift card last Christmas.

Thank you. You have done an amazing job and if it wasn’t for this voucher the kids would go without. One family happy for Christmas. I can’t believe it! Please thank everyone so much.

Everyone who donates will be giving the gift of enabling someone to choose and buy what they and their family most need – from fresh food or seasonal treats, to a Christmas jumper for a child.

Alternatively, you can donate by cheque, payable to Wandsworth Foodbank. Please download a Gift Aid Form if you’re a UK taxpayer, so that we can maximise your gift for the benefit of local people.
